Did the service department of your dealership ever replace any failed alternator rotors or diode boards?

I was over a bridge and the cross winds were fairly strong. The bike's tail wagged like a fish.

I have otherwise had no issues with stability in my 1000 miles so far. I ride with single rider setting and mostly on 'road' mode. But have used other modes dpeending on the surface.
News?

Saw this in DC yesterday!

Nice! This was my first opportunity to see one in person, and I am very impressed. Nicely finished, well integrated look.

No, I would if I could afford multiple new bikes, but I am going to get the GS next summer. I was just saying I thought it looked well built, finished and integrated.

I don't seem to remember a lot of electrical problems coming thru the service dept. I sold out in about '80. Still are very close however.

Hello. I asked you a while back about the negative experince(s) that YOU have had with YOUR BMWs. As you seem to have chosen to ignore me Ill have to mark you as an ignorant low life troll not fit to lick the milk crates on KLRs. Perhaps in the future you could save your vitirol for things you have actual personal experiences with? Or is there an honest to god BMW horror story you should be sharing?

Interesting that the RT has the bolt holes for the GS fender on the FD housing, and no pretense in plugging them.
