Question Aprillia SR50 r factory throttle problem

Recently my Aprillia scooter has had a problem getting to high revs. The problem is most significant when the weather is cold, and the air humidity is high. It's like it won't take full throttle, it will only go about 20-30 mph, and the acceleration is non.

The scooter is about two years old, has clocked 8000 miles and has the Piaggio engine with fuel injection. It has been running perfectly since i bought it.

Any suggestions what can be the problem?
I hope this is the right forum. Thanks in advance. :)

Have you replaced drive belt and rollers?

That is enough mileage to warrant servicing on the above items, air filter, spark plug, check all hoses for leaks, compressor efficiency, fuel pressure.

You should ask on the forums at AF1. Google Aprilia Ditech Forum.

Also check that your throttle cable slack is properly adjusted but oil pump needs to be adjusted first.
