Thanks, Mike!

I do enjoy fabrication. It was a dream for many years that has finally become reality after many years of hard work and sacrifices. So, yes, I'm having a ball!

Very nice! It also helps that you took very accurate measurements!

Nicely done. I could have used something like that!

If you shipped the rack, I haven't received it. If you still have it, I could swing out today or tomorrow.

Now the completed top box needs to mount to the OEM 2013 GS rack.

All done and ready for customer pick-up. It's a very rigid mount with very little added weight.

Here's what I have bought to make a brace:

The square base will go at the bottom of the top case. The other part will go on the cross brace between the two OEM panniers, under the license plate, and naturally a section of tube in between.

My only concern/worry is the combination of cutting the tube to the right size AND bending the tube without messing it up (I don't have a bender, but was thinking about large nails on a board.)

Antonio, come up here and we can use my bender.

I probably have some tube you can use as well.

Those brackets look nice!

Totally brainfarted on your rack. Twice! Lol. Sorry about that. It's still here and tomorrow or the next day is fine.
