Isreal Falou is a freak! Two tries, held up a try and great highball action.

Watching the video I dont see how Horwill (5) will escape a ban, viscous stamp:

North and Haeslip were impressive but Izzy gets my MOM even if was a losing effort.

Looked deliberate to me, amazing decision to let him off.

That was a great first test, full on. But still a lot of errors on both sides that I think will get tidied up pretty quickly and give us 2 more epic games of rugby to sort it out. Both teams have dangerous backs, possibly a slight edge to Aussies there, but we made a lot of pretty basic errors that are more easily fixable...
Its all on.

Interesting game ..... After watching the Brumbies beat the second 15 Lions I thought they may improve ... Looks like the boot has got them out of Gaol again just like Sir Johnnies did for the England side on so many occasions ..

Am I the only one that hates these contests decided by long range penalties?

Hey I'm with you on that. But Saturdays game had way more to it than a penalty fest.

I would like to see Youngs get a start @ 9, and Tuilagi a blast in the centres for saturday.
Its probably unlikely I'll get the first of those, but in that case Phillips needs to stop the box kicking straight to the Aussies strength.
Worried for our scrum if, as now looks likely, Corbisiero can't start.

It promises to be another fun saturday morning!

If the Wallabies win on Saturday, I'm calling a Lions Breakfast at The Thornbury Castle for the decider on 6th July.

Nice as it would be to rock up and meet you...

Aha! I got one of my wishes, Youngs to start at scrum-half. Good.

Really ? Ashton I understand (he's not my cup of tea) but didn't know that Farrell did too ? If he indeed did then that's bad form - this is not football (soccer) ya know...

Far be it from me to agree with the IRB or anything...
but, that was one of the least subtle bits of rucking I've seen recently.

So, a decider!

Doors open at the Thornbury Castle 10:00 next Saturday serving a Lions breakfast.

I'll be the fat old twat in a red Wasps shirt.
