most of the time, the speed is not limited by the bike, mostly not even by the rider, but by law. some stay at the speed limit, others go 10 over. others go 20 over. maybe thats why he was able to match their speed.

Same thing happened to me last summer... I was riding in the mountains and saw 2 BMWs sporting the side cases coming up fast behind me...

oh, no... wait... I guess it wasn't the same thing... 'cause I moved as far right as I could, and motioned for them to pass me. They blasted by me and went on their merry way.

Hey, give the OP a break- he probably had some NOS energy drink in his gas tank....and could have repassed the front two with that extra burst of power.

Me thinks this thread is heading for a........

This will not end well.

But I'm thinking that the third bike was ridden by a scuba instructor.

It was one of those cool, unspoken moments that riding is all about.
Pretty cool.

I usually ride the "missing man" formation when I come up on a group. I leave gap where there would be a rider between my group (of one bike) and their group. I always felt it was bad form to join their group uninvited.

Did your wife give you a "mouth hug" since you obviously moistened her panties with your awesomeness?
