Sometimes it's less trouble to just put new idle jets in, especially in Mikuni VMs because of the jet design.

Use Seafoam in that thing for the last mowing of the fall.... You won't have problems like this anymore

Based on my recent experience with a Honda generator, I'm a believer the Techron works better than Seafoam if you want to attempt to clean jets by running the thing.
