I heard stories about Johnny, I know I wouldn't be able to keep up.
Someone's been telling you tall tales...

AFAIK, the road up there has some nasty drop offs, I'm planning on taking it at a relaxed pace. If others wanna blaze ahead so be it...

From Harts Pass, we'd turn right up the switchbacks to Slate Peak - elevation in the 7400' range:

A friendly Hello -

Would you consider extending the invitation to a newbie?

I'm highly interested in tagging along and hopefully pick up some skills.

Thanks,

Swiss

Yo Swiss, c'mon along.

I'm assuming you're riding the 950? Fair warning: I'm gonna be all jealous & drooling all over it...

I was going to post a thread, but you put yours up first, so I figured why bother.
Besides, it's all slab for us.

I think we're heading out around 8 am from Seattle.

That's what I had in mind. An no worries about the drooling - I'm looking forward to see the already legendary V-Strom live in action.

Thanks for letting me ride along. I hope I'm not going to be too much of a drag.

Unless the unforeseeable should happen, count me in.
