I think if Lorenzo gets his setup right, he can hang with and beat MM. Still, I am picking MM for the win and Lorenzo as runnerup with Dani third.

Pirro will ride the "Lab bike" at Jerez. Let's hope is shows potential.

I think we´re yet to see that MM/DP/Hondas will rule also at Jerez, like they did in the previous round. Factory Yamahas (and probably Cal as well) should be much closer, at least on paper.

The Yamahas pretty much own Jerez. Honda will be closer than at the test, but you'd have to be brave and foolish to vote against at least two Yamahas getting on the podium.

Whichever way you look at it, it should be a goody! Lets just hope the weather co-operates.
Could be a classic.!! Bring it on!

I think the combination of a tight track with elbows flyin' and fairings scraping plus a Yamaha-favorable venue dictates that Crutchlow will win with VR 2d and JL 3d. MM crashes and DP gets pushed back. Nicky keeps backin' it into every corner to no avail.

Guess we will get another glimpse into how "Casey Stoner-like" Marc Marquez is, then.

2010

Lorenzo

2011

Lorenzo

2012

Stoner

I'll go with Dovi in 5th place
If it rains; Hayden in 5th place.

An all-Spanish podium seems likely to me, but the exact order is anyone's guess.

What I truly hope to see is Hayden finish ahead of his new teammate for a change.

Should be fun to watch the fight for positions 4 through 7.

Not sure this has been covered here, but while Pirro will run as a wild card for Ducati, there will be no replacement rider for Spies at Jerez.

Only a few more hours before they are on the track for FP1... if Marquez shoots to the top of the lap times right away that's sure gonna make all the old geezers a bit worried.

Kropotkin stirred things up in today's press conference asking why there aren't any gay Moto GP riders. Very cleverly worded.

Stef Bradl opined that if it would make him faster it would be worth a try.

Hopefully David will correct how wrong I have gotten the story. But it is too funny not to tell.
