Great video, but a little too fast i didnt have anytime to absorb what the city looks like from the air.
What elevation were you at?

About 1400 feet- normal altitude for a Bay Tour. If I still have the unrendered video I'll upload to Smuggy this evening and link it here.

Enjoyed the ride...

I've done that route many times... on early versions of Flight Simulator.

Of course, I generally flew under the Golden Gate... inverted...

Thanks for posting... look forward to more.

Best city in the whole wide world.

Thanks for the tour, man. I'm up in Marin and have always wondered what it looks like from up there. I've had a couple peeks from commercial jetliners and I have to say it's pretty fantastic.

I imagine a really nice bay tour is on a clear warm October night in a Extra 300. No one would see that you're inverted when you cross over the city. No one I know can either confirm nor deny....

Didn't the Canadians once paint "canopies" on the underside of their fighters...

Some more flying

While waiting for the other giant video to render and find a place to host, here's some flying in a rented Cherokee last Thanksgiving. Tahoe is a great fly-in destination.

Thanks for posting these videos. I learned to fly in Cherokee 140's. It brings back a lot of memories. I have not flown in 15 years. It makes me want to get current.

Thanks for the vids.

They take me back to a time long ago when I lived in Marin and worked in the City.
A guy from work showed a few of us what SF looks like at night from up high.

Havent been up in a private aviation plane since.
