[QUOTE=Day13;21690495]Mark seems to be having some kind of rear grip issue with his bike. He needs to get that looked at!

Bill, as much as I would like to I just have to much here needs catching up, have worked every day the last 2 weeks except last Saturday and spent that day on the road going to get the KLX. Gotta do a little catching up here so I'll be ready to ride hopefully the next wknd. Will have the bike registered mid week next week.........after that I'm gonna be looking to burn some miles. FWIW I'm putting a plan in place to do a couple days riding in western N.C early oct. if anyone is interested maybe we could get a group together. Food for thought

Some of us try to get up there once or twice a year, and Oct. is a nice time to do it, good plan.

On another subject, perusing some videos I came across this, kinda long at 10 min. but for some of us probably brings back memories. For me it was a 70 Yam 360, an MX250, and a 76 Husky CR250, there's nothin quite like a 2smoke!

Sounds like you are riding a chain saw lol. I had a chance to ride a 2 stroke yamaha once, you could shift the gears as fast as you could twist the throttle

For clarification, that wasn't me, just a random vid I came across but you're right, once those things hit the pipe, hang on!

I do like that guys style tho', he goes around the mud holes instead of thru 'em, looks familiar actually.

I won't mention PK's name but he showed me a video explaining why when a mud hole has an orange cone next to it, you don't try riding through said hole. I'm sitting here laughing just thinking of that video.

Wish I could have made the que today, but time was spent choosing paint for the master bath remodel we have going on. But, as a gesture respect, I just put some pork ribs on the smoker.

Lazy schmuck. And as a former KLRista, I'm ashamed of you for spending the dough. You coulda bought a couple sets of tires instead.

Oh wait, you don't actually ride it, do you?

I'm no BMW cultist but I do partake in the finer things in life thus going to some chain bbq joint is easier than hovering over one of my 3 smokers for 4-12 hrs...
