Need your help on part 2 of our last trip (Me, a blonde, 2 Ducati's, 3,000 miles)

Last years trip was fantastic. Time for this year's version. Thinking of doing a route like the one below, which will take us through Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah. Anything you'd add? Anything you'd leave out?

Laugh

Actually just finished reading your previous RR yesterday... Great stuff.

This new trip looks awesome... I have been to Zion and Bryce a few times, and that is still one of my most favorite places in the country. Enjoy!

I will add that I enjoyed your first trip report.

I will suggest a couple alternates for your route, you dnt mention when your are planning, but assuming it is Late June or Later, this might be cool.

I would leave Yellowstone Pk by the NE route thru Cooke City MT, and go over Beartooth Pass to Red Lodge, may be even detour down the Chief Joseph hwy toward Cody and back,, this is some of the best stuff there is..weather dependent.

Next, if you took ID hwy 12 al the way in to Lewiston / Clarkston, you could take Hwy 3 (rattlesnake grade)down thru Enterprise OR, then take the bitchin paved forest rd down thru hells canyon, by two hydro dams (Oxbow and Brownlee, could also detour to Hells canyon dam) and then ride out of the canyon to Cambridge ID, and still loop to McCall ID.. Way Cool! I have post a few rides in these areas.

Hwy 95 thru ID is OK, but not as cool as the aforementioned.

Also, also. the detour from Grangeville out to Elk City on ID 14 is great too.

Also also also UT hwy 150 from Kamas to Evanston WY is outrageous!

Thanks Jim. i've actually started a thread for the new trip HERE. Take a look.

We did did some of the roads you mentioned during last years trip (Enterprise for example....we actually stayed in Joseph, OR which was a cool little town). Some of the others, like Beartooth pass, I've added to the route. I'll look into the other suggestions. Thanks
