Is there a way to search the whole Craigslist database? I keep searching, one by one, the nearby cities (Detroit, Grand Rapids, Toledo, Columbus, Chicago, etc.).

Try oodle.com

For Denver and the surrounds it searches craigs list, autotrader, ebay and both major newspapers. See if there is a local edition for Detroit, Lansing, etc.

I'm not sure what's so exciting about the Transalp, decent bike, no sex.

I thought this was much more interesting. If someone were to buy it, I'd gladly take it off their hands at a later date.

Thanks for the heads up! Turns out i bought one today - Got a good price on a low mileage 2001 DRZ400. That 4 gallon tank is a nice extra though...

The bike i got is pretty dirt oriented- aftermarket exhaust and kickstart only to save weight. (6 + 13 lbs savings). It has a great snarling sound - though the neighbours won't be too happy.

It would be better for all of us if you make sure it is not too loud when out trail riding. Sound is offroad riders greatest enemy.

Well, sound is our enemy. However, have you ever considered the damage done by allowing normal folks to see you wearing a Pink Tutu! I'm sure you have done just as much damage for our image as a loud muffler...

I'll bet the folks at that breakfast place in Fairplay still say "Do you remember the morning those 25 dirt bikers came in with that gay guy with the pink tutu".
