OEM or one of the names I mentioned - same thing.

Not sure what you are disputing here.

1988 CBR 1000F HURRICANE Sport Bike - $2250 (HIGHLANDS RANCH)

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/2970849687.html

For Sale. 1988 model Honda Hurricane. 6 speed, all original except for the 4 in 1 Yosh exhaust and custom seat.
Bike is very, very fast. I am second owner and the bike is in fantastic shape. New fork seals, fluids, and tires have tons of life.
The bike has never been down and has been garaged all of it's life. Making way for a new motorcycle so this one has to go.
23k on mileage and clean title. All paperwork included since I have owned it and I have the manual.
Great bike to ride and commute on.
Thanks for looking.

Wow, don't see many of these around in this good of shape. I remember putting the first one of these together when they hit the dealership I was working at. I could hardly finish the job as every employee and customer in the joint had to come back and check it out.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

I remember these. Living in upstate NY at the time, and I was a brand new dad. I remember being out running some errands on a Saturday morning (without my wife) and dropping in to a local moto shop -- they had one of these on the floor. To say I was torn between my real-life responsibilities and my inner adventurer longings would be a huge understatement. Unbelievable drool factor at the time.

Half temped to call the guy...

My g/f and I were on a road trip on my K100RS, up on the Brownlee/Oxbow Hwy crossing from OR into ID over the Snake. Pulled in for gas and there was a brand new, all red w/ black Hurricane 1000 getting gas. They were so new I hadn't seen one in the flesh....and I wanted one immediately

If anybody spots one of these on craigslist, please let me know. I will pay at least $2500 for it.

I was clued in by watching American Pickers TV.

WR250R w/Crash Damage

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/2983002970.html

Looks like a relatively easy fix. Most of the damage is to stuff that gets removed or replaced anyhow....other than the radiator of course. Doesn't appear to have any engine or frame damage.

Must not call, must not call, must not call....
