Had a '66 305 Super Hawk. Smoother than any sewing machine and would rip. Great memories.

1968 Kawasaki 250 Samurai A1 (lakewood)

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3397812588.html

nice trip down memory lane...if a little overpriced.

Titled as 1969 (year it was sold ) but is more likely a 1967-68.
Original for the most part-I've added new bars and rear brake shoes plus a seat pan-up resto w/MC specific foam and professional re-upholstery.
Stock/original paint except for touch up on the silver. 7219 miles (probably actual given the condition-which is unusually good).
Lights work and system charges. Brakes, Clutch and Throttle all work. Starts and runs very well.
Currently has fuel drained etc for the winter.
Fuel Tank chemical cleaned (excellent inside). Oil tank/supply lines cleaned, fresh injection oil and system adjusted.
New points and plugs (Unusual cause most A1's and A7's are CDI-points preferred cause they "age" better and easier to troubleshoot).
One of the rarest Japenese imports from this era. ..
For those who weren't aware::: This is a rotary valve 2-stroke.
Notice; no carbs on back of cylinder-they're under engine s/covers-one on each side.
Fast bike in it's day...
Price is $2600.00. Key and title

I just hit the ad again and refreshed my cache....he dropped his price to $1650.

I could sorta use another Baja sled... the 310 will be playing catch-up every time we hit pavement.
