Sound Riders on Sunday 7/24/05
This Sunday we’re riding from Greenwater to Snoqualmie via PyramidPass and Lester. This ride is on Forest roads and does not involve any single track. It is GS/KLR compatible.
Riders meet at the Greenwater General Store & Gas Station at 9 am, last rider out at 9:15. Lunch will be up in SnoqualmiePass at the Family Pancake House. Route back to Seattle includes Denny Creek and Tinkham roads. Maps when you get there. Along the route there are a number of scenic lookouts including nice views of Mt.Rainier, LakeKechellus and the surrounding area. Bring your camera. Sales Plug of the month: The Sound RIDER! store now sells Chamois BUTT’r so you’ve got your choice of a lotion lube or the dry type with Anti Monkey Butt Powder all in one place. I used the BUTT’r during the 500 miles of the OBDR route I rode earlier this month. It was great. Enough butt talk for now but you can get more info at www.soundrider.com/store. See you Sunday. - Tom Mehren Sound RIDER! - Northwest Motorcycling Seattle DINING! - The Ultimate Guide Mixed MEDIA - Digital Media Services OOO! OOO! JD I may have to ditch Harts Pass.

that is a very cool ride...There is one section though that I would be a bit scarred to take a GS down...Maybe we took a differnt route but otherwise that ride is great.

I think I should put a Clarke or IMS tank on my shopping list to keep up with the supertankers.

1. a16tony are you or others from advrider going?
2. If I go riding this Sunday this would be my pick of the rides. 3. I'm not sure if Cori and I are going to the NHRA Drag Races Sunday or not, it depends on how she feels when she gets home tomorrow night. 4. I'll check back with this thread Saturday night or early Sunday morning to let you know if I am coming.

Jackariah had his kid... riding is going to be limited.
Hey Fellas,
We had our son on Tuesday. 8lbs, 14oz, 20.5". Samual Cooper... I have 2 boys now... I can't wait to get them on bikes. Unfortunately, now that I have my bike running better than every (thanks to Green Hornett) and now that I have new K270 tires (which I freakin love so far)... I can't get out. Dang you boys get out a lot... have run. By the way... where is the Green Water... or whatever the meeting places is you guys are starting from? I want to look it up on the map. Jackariah... have a great time guys. PS: Tony... how are you like your new GPS? |
