Good All Around Riding Pants

I am looking for a new pair of riding pants.

I have a pair of Tour Master Overpant and I think they are great and keep me dry but they are too short.

After those I bought Aerostich Darien pants but they never kept me dry and this spring the zipper broke and the velcro is falling apart. Aerostich wants $80 to fix them so I feel I need to cut my losses and go another way.

I am thinking of getting another pair of the Overpant in a long but thought I would see if anyone had a good experience with their riding pants. I was looking at the Alpinestars Durban.

I don't mind spending money on them, but since my $100 pants out lasted my $300 pants I am apprehensive to do it again without some opinions.

A.D.1 pants

The AD1 pants from Aerostich work for me. You can get them in a long size if you need to. Just returned from 3 day trip in constant pouring rain and legs remained completely dry. They aren't too hot in the warm weather either. I'm satisfied with them.

REV'IT! Axis Pants

I've had the Axis pants for over a year and they have become my "go to" commuting pant. I bought them because they were relatively inexpensive, easy on-off and came in LONG sizing. Though not completely waterproof, they hold up to the standard rainstorm for the 45 minute ride each way here in North Jersey. They get hot when temps clip 85, though.

Tourmaster Flex pants. Treat them with CampDry HD or similar. Use them 366 days/yr.

I use BMG Ezeon pants. No frills overpant, 500D Cordura, and waterproof to boot. Only downside is that there's no included armor, but I wear strap on knee/shin armor anyways, so not a problem for me. Plus BMG offers an ADVrider discount.

Olympia X-Moto

I use Olympia X-Moto pants. Very heavy construction with 2000D and 500D Cordura but lots of nice details like soft leather on the inside of the legs. Decent hot weather venting.

KLIM Traverse pants are Fantastick and have Goretex built in. Armor is optional and they should last forever. I've been happy with mine for the last 3 years.

Since you don´t mind spending money I'm gonna suggest a pair of BMW Streetguard 2 or 3. Best pair of pants I've ever worn. But pricey new but look on ebay for a used pair. Can usually be found for relatively little money.
