Awesome mechanic outside of the city... this guy is incredible! no hassles!

Found excellent private moto mechanic outside of the city... in Stoufville!

I no longer have to go into the city and fight traffic to get my bike serviced. With some of the guys i ride with from richmond hill was told to check out a fellow working out of his garage in stoufville.

What used to cost me a ton in servicing my supermoto now is a piece of cake...

I told steve who is taking his part time passion to the next level that i would tell a few people... i have read enough posts about poor mechanics.. or the problems in dealing with a big shop and the costs associated.

I was really happy with the work done! Give steve a call 416 561 3378 or email steve52@rogers.com

I am no longer dealing with the unfriendly BS at the corporate type shops who no longer care about the rider.

WTF? Am I missing something here? The OP posts relaying a GOOD experience he had with a mechanic and he get trashed? I must be missing something....

If not, thanks for the tip.

Methinks it has more to do with posting without any reference to where this is, spamming a business out of a fellas garage, posting in the wrong section and coming across like the only city in the world is the one he is in. Toss in the adrenalin pumped posting and he comes across as an ass.
Post the same info the correct regional form with reference to Toronto and to PM the OP for contact info would probably be accepted a little more readily.

If I still had every dollar I spent on motorbikes I would be a richer man but a poorer person.

I think... maybe...

The new guy is trying to help, those Toronto guys, keep money in their pockets...

Which is all good..

but where is Stouffville...? I figure near Toronto as the clear phone number is 416.. so must be right... he won't mind the bots calling him..

and his email... Well his email inbox just improved a whole lot as the bots find this stuff and email him, now he has to sort through the real and unreal mail.

op posted this to all of Canada, so he must be important enough so the people in Lethbridge, know where a town outside of Toronto is...

give the new guy a break, after this welcome to ADV, I'm sure the OP will leave, grow 5 more skin layers or tell you all to... jump off a bridge...

I vote for growing 5 layers and telling us all to jump off a bridge....

Welcome aboard Hannzzy.... Its winter we are all not riding a motorcycle and you gave us a reason to ride you instead

thanks for the info

I think maybe this was moved here from a different section :S

Stouffville is about 10 minutes North of Toronto, towards Newmarket, just a bit passed Markham, out that way. You can get to it by the 404, or any of those major arterial streets (Kennedy for example, or Markham road). Its a nice little town.

I assume he didn't give out detailed directions or addresses because its a dudes house, not a business. So i suppose if you wanna see what this guy can do and for how much send him an email and if he has time to do the work he will give you an address and a time to bring the bike in...

It was a bit disappointing reading the post, as OP assumed 'Canada' meant 'Toronto' lol But as I have figured out Canada usually means Ottawa, Toronto or Vancouver areas most of the times so i shouldn't get my hopes up this easily any more haha

If i was in the GTA i would at least talk to this guy, its way easier getting to Stouffville then Toronto most of the time..

Now it is confirmed. Toronto is the centre of the world, maybe the whole world. To bad I never go there, and never want to!

of course it's Toronto - he said it was "just outside of the city". That's Toronto, the only city in Canada. Get with it, guys.

sheesh.

Well ya, they wouldn't have made Toronto the nations capital if there were OTHER cities up here!

You know...would have been Mom's birthday yesterday. After she got out of nursing school in Quebec City she went to Toronto to work for a couple years.

She always called Toronto......"Toronto la Pure".Even from back in the 50's.

I was under the impression that Toronto was the only city in Canada!
