Your papers please ???

Just trying to figure out were to keep my insurance & registration papers ? on the bike ? I have them in my pelican case right now but I dont think the cops would like me digging thrue there for them . So is there somewere up front I can stash them ? does someone make a hicky majig to hold them on the bars or something ?

loginparking dot com has a number of devices that fit the bill although I don't see any issue with you digging thru your pelican box to get it ..

cops get kind of nervious when you ask to dig thrue a box !! for it . now a days its just better to not go there and have it handy to give them if needed without dismounting the bike . Thanks fo rhte info Ill check it out .

I actually make a photocopy of the registration, with my driver's license on it along with my insurance card.

I keep it in a ziplock baggie, taped to the inside of my glovebox so I DON"T have to open anything they might want to look in (i.e. my top box or saddlebags).

I am one of those people who does not believe that speeding constitutes probable cause for a search.

No, they haven't.

If you got searched at a traffic stop, it wasn't because you were speeding.

I keep reg & poi on my person at all times. I never keep any info on the bike. If I'm not available to answer questions the leos can run the plate.
