Drone Video of my 1150GS ADV - Cochise Trail

This is near my house in Colorado. I strapped my drone to the bike and looked for some nice scenery near Pine, Colorado between storms.

You can see that one direction remains intact while the other was nearly completely wiped out by wildfires about 15 years ago.

Sorry for the poor video and editing quality, I'm what they call an amateur video drone operator and editor.....It's a bit better if you look at it in HD (gear setting lower right).

Thanks......

That was done with the straight DJI Phantom 2 Vision. The 2+ would be a lot more stable. I just ordered one of those.

http://www.dji.com/product/phantom-2-vision

The Phantom Vision has an integrated camera that's controllable with the iphone or droid app. The app does a pretty good job but because the camera isn't stabilized, there's a lot motion to try to get rid of during edit.

No top box, that's the drone case I bungee'd to the bike.

These things would be so much fun to make a movie of a short ride.

Cool video. Thank for taking the time to post it.

I've been wanting to get one of the drones with GPS, then see if I could write a controller, to it tracks motion, so I could have it follow me when I ride for short bits. Yours got some great shots.

Very cool. I have a cheap quadcopter. It was hard to learn how to fly. Are the bigger ones more stable.
