Yes, having it mounted on the bike is great for the tracking feature, but most likely it would be gone in a serious crash when u most need it. Good point.

I really enjoyed your report! Thanks... I missed crossing over to Boquillas on my trip... next time! And the Lajitas event was really moving... It's hard to think of that little creek (despite its grand name) as an international border...
