Crashit went down as well and was having problems with his left hand. I believe he had someone from Little Rock come and retrieve him as he wasn't able to operate the clutch on his Versys.

Pics from # 106!!

Just got home after 1150 miles from St. Louis to SLAP and back. We had a Great time!
We rode up to White rock, warloop, and over to natural dam. We saw some old friends and made some new ones. Thanks John for leading us and covering us in dust.....

No my group had two riders go down. The guy who broke his leg had surgery today to put pins in. I went down at the very end.

Torn muscle/ligaments in hand (which would explain why I had no strength) and hyper extended my shoulder 6-8 week recover....good pain meds to go with my bottle of crown.

Dude, you've got some good pics there. Spend some time and embed them here with the tales of your experience and pre-ride. Looks like you took a ferry on the way and saw some neat country.

Pretty simple if you can do without a front brake fro a while.

Sorry to hear you biffed. Glad it wasn't more serious.

Just got home. Had to get in one last good ride before I packed up this afternoon.

I had a great time! The food was excellent, the company even better. A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made this year's SLAP one of the best ever!

This was big fun. I'm constantly amazed at what's in my new backyard. Thanks to all for the hard work putting this on. What a blast.

Back home after another long drive. What a fun group to ride with, our first SLAP. Thanks to the organizers for making this such a great event. Thanks to Amanda for putting up with some newbies.

Everything was awesome. two thumbs up to all those that did the work to put this on. Met some great folks (missed Highfive, had some Husky questions.) and visited with old friends. Can't wait for all the ride reports to come in.
Again Great Job.

I arrived early Friday morning driving in from Springfield, MO through some ultra thick fog. Even with the fog I got there an hour early & crashed for a bit. Woke up & Toyman had hot coffee there to get me started with registration.

Rode Friday with Newner's group doing WR & Frog Bayoo. Stopped at Turner's Bend for a sammich. Yum yum! Sweet single track & great people to ride with make for a memorable ride. Brian, Ralph, Ray, Uyleebrad, Okie engineers, the Polish Mafia & anyone I missed...thanks to all you guys.

Saturday started with a hot breakfast provided by Byrds and then sweet little Amanda taking us through some awesome trails. Throttlemeister, Joe Boggs and I separated from the group & went looking for some more single track & high speed fireroads. Found some very interesting backwoods Americana & Joe stopped for an extend time to examine some Amarillo road kill. Seems they don't have those critters in New Zealand! Dinner was great that night and I got hooked up again with Earlthevet who rode with me at the Arkansas 500.

Sunday morning saw John, Joe & I tagging along with Amanda again to explore some more single track across the highway from Byrd's. Had a great ride even though I was still recovering from Saturday night's festivities. Spent the remainder of the morning saying goodbye to a great group of people that I'll be looking forward to riding with next year.
