Buy an XR650R! They are the best dual sport ever made, they just forgot to make them street legal!? I got mine for 3k with 10hrs on it and extras, they are out there.

I'm leaning more towards a KLR. An xr is more dirt oriented from all the knowledge I've been soaking up around here and its mot exactly what will suit me. There is one in Prosser on CL that I've been eyeballing though, but ideally I want an early 2000s KLR with a few basic mods so I can road trip on. The xr seems a bit more for the hardcore guys.
