Granted, I'm sure there are some bikes out that this rule doesn't apply to. But every motorcycle I've owned with a kicker- this was the case.
The yamaha 2-stroke twins had the kickstart connected to the primary drive so they could be started in gear with the clutch lever pulled in.

Ad in the Vegas CL this morning for a "street fighter custom" sport bike. Guy states right up front that it's not converted because the fairings were crashed off it, like all the rest of these conversions. Yeah, right, 99% chance that's BS. Street fighter conversion or custom paint both mean the same thing to me if it's on CL, the bike was crashed.

Anyway, the funny thing was this:

"Come check it out. Bring cash in hand, don't tire kick or waste my time. Serious buyers only. Price is Not firm but don't mega low-ball me or I will sick my dog on your balls."

Sometimes there is some entertainment on CL aside from the dumassedness.

I predict this will become the biggest thread on ADVrider in the fastest amount of time. Hell, someone should just make a web site. Then the sellers could say, "Featured on Craigslist "Dumbass of the week" and charge an extra $500.

i actually go though the ads hoping to find the crappy/funny ones.
i love the ones with the upside down pictures, or pictures of bikes behind a bunch of junk in a dark basement, No flash. Always makes me smile.
