Thumb Sena SM10

Well after losing the right ear in the second headset I have given up on Scala and bought a Sena SM10....Recvd them last night....Easy to use and if they really can do all the stuff they claim in the manual I will be a happy camper....

You talking about the SENA SM10, or the SMH10? 2 different products... Love my SMH10!

I also just bought a sena , I've been a scala q2 person for years but some people I ride with swear by sena . My first brief ride I felt the speaker volume was a tad low while streaming music but was told to check the phone settings haven't done so yet, the call volume was loud and clear and the the dial was convenient. I'll have to use it some more to give it a full review

Keep in mind that your intercom volume and music volumes are set independently. It remembers each one so set it while that device is active. Yes, you should check your phone and make sure your "media" volume is near the top, but usually best 1 down from full or you get distortion.

Also, speaker placement is critical. A few mm any direction away from the center area of your ear makes a huge difference on how loud it is. With all those set correctly, you should find full volume painfull unless you have a hearing issue. I can actually wear ear plugs and it still gets loud.

BTW, there is a huge Sena SMH10 thread here - http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=562357
