I have taken NM161 from I25 over to 518 in my MH pulling a trailer. Its a bit slow going but saves going all the way south to Las Vegas. Get to see a lot of rural NM. By the way Vintage Trials Rocks!!!

They did invade, and boy did we have fun!!

I got only one sorry-assed shot of Sting in competition -

but a great shot of him, his dad, and Yours Truly in front of Miss Bitters' Tundra (with OJ and the Team TY loaded up) in the background -

Awesome time fellas! I'm really glad you came out to ride with us. It really motivated me to come out and ride for the first time in 7 months on a borrowed bike with no front brakes!

Great weekend

It looks like the only one that did not have a good time was Sting's rear fender

It probably melted from the climb just on the loop. I know the KTM I putted around on was quite warm!

That is a wierd action shot that was taken as I went from 1st to 2nd place sunday, lol. the fenders on the new bikes, are that flexible, I slammed that rock with front wheel, but was spinning out, and I didn't get the spring/rebound UP that rock, that i needed.

Then of course slow and looking to my right, there was a 4 foot hole, that you feel like is sucking at you... So I ended up off line, and it took a 3 to get out, lol. That "three" and a dumb "one" on section 8 (can you say Flat lander's fat ass was tired?).

This was a Very fun event! Need to get the word out for next year! If I had ANY money at all (besides what it will take to bring myself out again next year) I will have some kind of "dirt bike" so I can do some TST (that what you call it right? Tight Single Track) with you guys!

Thanks to yo all for a great weekend for me and my pop!

If that fender is flexing from momentum you must have been making a hell a of a move

Great excuse. Mine for losing to your very well-skilled dad was that I borrowed NMTrailboss' very unloved "spare" 315R Montesa that had not run in a year, and had a fork seal leak all over the front brake for longer than that. Otherwise, I would have....still been beaten by your pops!

Great hanging out with you folks. I loved it, even with the college hippies partying all night, both nights in the motel. Geez, are we that old? I hope not........

Yup, great place and great company. I found great conversation all weekend, but Sting32 and Pops stand out. I rode both their bikes, followed their analysis, was impressed! Now I have bike lust again.

What say Brewtus? Wanna try a different Spanish brand, working brakes, a quarter century younger?

thanks to all for a memorable trip. I'll be back.

Thanks anyway, I had that offer 15 times over at the event. I try real hard not to ride new bikes, it puts thoughts into my head that I simply can't afford.
