My size-12 boot kicked the motor a couple of times when shifting. Anyone else notice a tight fit?

The girls all come running when I roll up on the FZ-09.

Ok, well, at least my Grand Daughters do.

Anyone here looking for a full exhaust? I'm selling my GPR to help pay for my new rear shock.

I'm sure that won't be hard to sell. Did you put an ad in FM yet?

How did you extend the hugger on your back wheel? Still waiting for pyramid plastics to come out with theirs, they already have an extender for the front fender.

I used an old carbon fiber tank protector... Don't even waste your time.
I took it off since it did little to nothing in stopping spray.

Not the size of your boots, but no, never hit the motor. Size 11 1/2 boots, 2 different pair, no problems.

I have no problems, either. But I also set my foot controls lower than most.

Just got mine this past Saturday and have since done a couple of 200+mi days it.

Suspension is just as soft as everyone said it would be. The rear gets unsettled easily, but should get better once I set the sag and preload/dampening adjusted to my weight.

Brakes seems to work good when pressed hard. The front brake lever has a ton of play and seems soft in general, same for the rear. I have to really get on them to stop quick. May need to bleed them before I jump to a conclusion.

Power/torque - HOLY SHIT, coming from a WRR this thing is a monster. I keep it in B mode and occasionally venture out in STD. The engine is really smooth and has a shit load of torque no matter the RPM in any gear.

Seat sucks after about 3hrs of riding. It's not horrible around town compared to the wood plank seat I was used to.

Wind isn't a big deal, since I have a decent helmet and proper gear it is a non-issue. I have rode a solid few hours, at hwy speeds, with no issues.

Gas mileage is better than expected. I get a solid 50mpg or better depending on how hard I beat on it.

All around a great bike for the price. I am glad I purchased this bike and I see myself riding this thing many miles for the years to come.
