Sackcloth and ashes,

I'm wearing them...
I stupidly waxed my GSA. The metal tank looks great.
The plastic looks like shit.
How do I get the wax out of the plastic surfaces without screwing it up any worse?
Toothbrush? Lick it off (not that there's anything wrong with that)?
409?
I'd really appreciate some advice.
Thanks!
Max

If you're lucky, it will wear off in time.

Frankly, I think you're fecked.

Wouldn't be the first time...
Actually,
Putting a lot of work into a small area showed much improvement. Being very lazy, I'm just looking for an easier way.
Thanks!

I'd ask an automotive paint store or a detailing business.

Thanks.

Do you mean you waxed unpainted plastic an now it looks all white? Use a pencil eraser on it.

I guess that it was unpainted. Not all white, just streaked.
I'll try the eraser!
Thanks! (I guess that you knew I was 1/4 Irish? ;-)! )

Back in my airbrushing days there was this stuff for precleaning . Silicone wax remover. Not sure on the brand or if you can still get it. I used it on everything as a pre wash. Not totally sure of your situation but thought i would throw this at you. Some pictures may help.

In the future, skip the paste wax and use something like Honda Pro Cleaner. Great for every surface.
