Oyster Run (ADVbiker gang???)

This year's the24th annual Oyster Run in Anacortes on September 25th.

Anyone wanna group up and ride to Anacortes on Dual sport bikes? Mabe crack a few Banditos skulls while we're at it? Collect helmet sitckers and watch the rocket scientist types do burn-outs in the streets?

If you've never had the pleasure of boarding a WSF boat that's 90% bikes, it's a trip.

Anyone interested in riding together up there?

The oyster run is definitely an Adventure!
Lots of local color, too. I don't see how it can be missed. Maybe there should be an Adventure course, on the old Snelson-Anvil property, complete with tree roots, rocks and mud holes. It would be an adventure watching the Oyster attendees (especially the big hawgs) navigate such a course, especially as the day wears on and spirits get higher. Seriously though, it could be fun....and a cruise around Guemes Island is a scenic possibility, although all pavement.

Note to Gentry:
Oysters are rumored to cause disruptions in family size and structure.
Some caution may need to be exercised. But should you find yourself needing a suburban for a family vehicle, it comes with a jim-dandy towing package. Just right for hauling a fleet of DS bikes into the hills.

05' Oyster Run

I attended the last two years... only found a half dozen Dual Sports in attendance. Lots (1000's) of H-D cruisers all nice and shiny. Most of the riders are 401K raiders trying to live the H-D lifestyle for a few hours. I suggest that we/you all show up after some real dirty trail riding to show them what real adventure riding is about! Adventure Riding T-shirts are a must!
