One is called a 'girls bike' and the other is called a 'chick car'.
When properly modded, both with surprise you

I predict this thread to die an ugly death with all the hot linked pics..

low entry costs, mostly about the engine, suspension 'just' good enough, very high smile per dollar ratio, has a identical sister with half the displacement..

For the last 10 years and 260.000km a reliable travel buddy (in my profession as a service technician)

The same (7 years/110.000km) takes effect for this bike

The thread idea is great!

They were both antiquated during the majority of their production. In stock form, they are hopelessly inadequate in modern U.S. traffic conditions. Both will have their top speeds easily manipulated by hills and wind direction. The VW and the Honda can be cobbled back into some sort of functionality with wire, duct tape and maybe a crescent wrench, but are also easy to repair properly. Most importantly, they are both a blast to drive/ride, and piloting one always put a smile on my face.

This is a very fun creative thread, surprisingly, but could you please label the cars? I'm not up to speed on many cars shown and I'd like to know what I'm looking at.
Thank you.
