Gel Seat on a Vstrom

I thought I'd report I wore out my suzuki gel seat on my 2008 Vstrom 650. I rode 40k miles on that seat in all kind of weather so I'm not complaining. The seat has a mushy feeling now. I will order another one.

thanks for listening

Be sure to replace your ass at the same time. They wear out as a set.

Hmm.. I've got over 100,000 on my gel seat. I haven't noticed it being mushy or anything different than new. Of course, if it's been wearing out, it's taken a long time to do so so maybe I haven't noticed.

Though there are a few thin spots on the cover. I can tell that sometime soon the cover is going to wear through and I'll have some holes/tears to deal with.
