My Dominator-Scrambler

Hi everyone,

I'm Vittorio, a med student from Italy (22yo)

After a pretty bad crash with my Dr-z I decided i wanted something different.

I realized that my ideal bike would have been something very similiar to a Scrambler, but since I'm a student and here in Italy a triumph scrambler costs 6000E USED I knew I would have had to build it myself

I bought a cheap a 83' NX650 dominator and started working on it in my garage.

I decided not to cut/modify the frame cuz i wanted to stay "legal" or at least try

The tank is from a (69?!?) Honda CG125

This was the situation a couple of days ago:

I used an old headlught from a Vespa px125 but it wasn't good so i changed it with a bigger, more powerful and strong one.

I named it Bellerofonte (Bellerophon) as the greek hero, semi-God, son of Poseidon and Eurinome, who became famous as the one who was able to kill the mounstrous Chimera.

After the crash I had an MRI and "luckily" they found something very little and very bad.
During 6 months of treatment this bike was one of the few things that helped me to keep fighting and, finally, get better.

Even if this is my first post I was always a reader of this amazing forum, so i thought to share my story with you.

Hope you have a great weekend,

Lamps

Happy for the healing.
Great bike by the way.
I would liked it better with a bash plate and standard high exhausts, like the one on the scrambler from triumph maybe.
But the bike is your idea, so it's up to you obviously! I really appreciate the work behind it, and the look. It's seems like a sturdy bike, with some classic style!

Really nice work. Where did the fenders come from? Alu or stainless?
