I like the concept, but your stand needs to keep the bowl from grounding. You should be able to lift the stand with the ladle on it without having to put down your beer.

Troidus, this is version 1.0, our engineering dept. has been working on modifications throughout the weekend and we do value your input.

In a very rare shot of both "Sister Mary Margaret" and the "Ladle" which have never been seen in public together taken by our undercover photographer, Len Scapon. (credit St.eve) you can see them both in there natural environment. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words and this one surely is.....

One of the carpenters at work had a few minutes to spare and whipped up this little oak box for me today.

A little touch up sanding after a test fit and the poly was on it.

Hinges and a clasp are next...maybe some red velvet? Got to go through Sister Mary Margaret's closet to see if I like any of the fabrics, she wouldn't miss a dress or two?

Why cut up a dress to line a box? Go to Cloth World or something and get some fabric you like. Then you'll know you have enough, won't have to worry about existing stitch holes or seams, and won't be destroying an article of clothing.
