I'm still looking for anybody who wants to trailer a bike down. I have a trailer and will split gas and hotel expenses from the Fredericksburg VA area.

I signed up and I am in no way qualified to compete but trust that it will be fun and I can learn a lot. Coming down from Greensboro, NC.

I'm banking on the idea that anybody who is actually good will not show up. LOL.

Seriously though, I know my skills are not near what others have and my off-road experience is limited. I plan on learning a lot and enjoying myself. It isn't that I can't ride off road... I just know my limitations.

Who knows, maybe everybody who signed up is more inept than me when it comes to single-track.

We're booked at the Econolodge in Greenville. Walking distance to food and as much as I like camping, I might like a hot shower and soft bed after a day of beating myself up on the course.

It's coming closer!

I worked at the PC from 2010-2012 as a motorcycle instructor there. I would like to say that the CAR PROGRAMS are really, really fun.

The 2-day Car Control Clinic is a nice way to have fun on 4 wheels.

So are any of you serious guys running street tires on Friday and then swapping to knobbies on Saturday? Dorito and I are just running knobbies but then again we couldn't win anyway. Did you see the obstacle pictures on the Facebook page? I am not sure what class those are for but some of them seem like they would be pretty fun. I think I would have the most problems with the piles of logs....not saying that the other stuff would be a cake walk or anything.

Just like last year, on Thursday we will throw the bikes in the back of the F-150 and ride down in the a/c, sitting comfortably in shorts and sneakers, sipping on soda, enjoying road trip food and conversation. Riding there and back (IMHO) is not a good idea...What if you break, sprain, strain, bend or crack something important on the bike, or you. I have to be back at work on Monday. Hey, I have a Iron Butt Association license plate holder, but interstate riding is highly over rated and boring, it's much better in the truck.

I am really referring to when on site and riding the asphalt part versus the dirt section and not the trip down there as we are trailering as well.

I am really just going for the cookies. (inside joke with blur) Really just curious how many people are taking this serious as it would be nice to pick up some riding tips on some of the obstacles from the expert crowd.
