My2wheels- Thanks again, I had the best time!
You made all first timers feel very welcome.
Goldpoint is a real treasure, your rides were nothing short of EPIC for me. Already looking forward to next year.. After I lose a few(many) lb's from Herb's cooking and dry out from Whiskey Walt's influences.

(Picture clapping, cheering, smiley emoticons here)

I have to get a decent camera...

This was Thursday, 4 of us came back from a morning ride and a Model T club touring from Central Ca coast rolled thru for lunch and a tour from Herb. Photo was using iphone then applying B & W filter effect in the photo editing features.

Same here:

Hey Joel,
Looks like nobody got a picture of your entertaining moment in front of the saloon at the start of the Bishop ride, no pictures so it did not really happen lol.

Well you my friend, have an eye for B&W composition. Very nice!

It's time to put a real camera in your hand.

Great weekend you had there guys. Once a year for Death Valley (March Noobs Rally) is not enough. Weather looks perfect for DV as well. Glad you enjoyed it.

Saturday ride from Gold Point to Bishop

Lots of riders in the morning!

This year, SuperChris was carrying Buck.

Farthest distance award: Florida!

After a little dirt through the forest, we take pavement through the Fish Lake area.

Thumbs up from jrozar.

Back to dirt. Getting ready to head up Wyman Creek.

The trail was rockier than before, probably related to summer storms.

"...Let me move this rock outta the way..."

3 UP and The Legend on their 990s.

Photobombed by Buck.

More water crossing.

Less than a mile from the top of Wyman Creek Rd, jrozar's chain guide took a trip around the rear sprocket. Result = not good.

Russian Mike working on a fix. TeamVegas helps by pointing out the chain is not on the sprocket.

Temporary fix in place, we are on the move.

We're behind schedule, so skip the trip up to the research station overlook. We head down Silver Canyon in search of food and a new motorcycle chain.

The view on the way down is great.

Mike.

Nick.

We roll into Bishop and jrozar drops his bike off at the motorcycle shop for a new chain. Then we stormed Amigo's Mexican restaurant around 2pm for lunch.

After lunch, jrozar pickup up his motorcycle with new chain installed and we returned to Gold Point via Death Valley Road.

We arrived around 5:15PM, with plenty of time to get ready for dinner.

Saturday night

Waiting for the dinner bell.

Inside the saloon.

jrozar's Got Milk.

Dinner time!

Herb manning the grill.

Moonrise.

Each time at GoldPoint, the rider with Buck gets to Pass The Buck to another rider. Next time, Buck rides with The Legend.

Sunday morning ride from Gold Point to Silverpeak

Big bikes, little bikes... it's all good.

We took a detour to some sand dunes near Silverpeak. The road was a little washed out.

Desertdweller likes the sand.

That's him near the top of one of the dunes.

Meanwhile, Nick fell and said he broke his collarbone. Thankfully, these guys knew how to create a brace to help hold Nick's collarbone.

Then Nick rode one handed out of the dunes to the main road.

We regrouped at Silverpeak.

We took Silverpeak Rd towards Hwy 95.

The group split up at the beginning of this ATV trail. Desertdweller, background, is fasinated by the rusty sign.

A closer look.

We made it back to Gold Point a little after the other group escorted Nick back to camp. Thank you guys so much for all the help!!!
