Thanks, Squishy and Ladybug for more great pictures.
It helps make it last in my head longer than I was actually there.
That whole area has the right combo of great wide open and forest.
I like it. See y'all next year!!

It’s amazing how this event has so many early risers. Up and about at 5:00 am and there are others out and about as well. I like it.

When I went to the group area to get the coffee thermos to fill with hot coffee I found this great guy cleaning up the mess left over from the fajita feed. Thanks for cleaning things up and having the area ready for breakfast.

There were so many people doing so much to make this work... it was the least I could do to chip in and help out...
I've said it before, but here I go again... thanks to Ladybug and everyone for all your efforts to pull this together... a great event!!

Funny! I'm actually reading that build thread, just hadn't got far enough to see a finished picture.

I'm guessin' she's stout, bein' as it got put to use as a tow truck!

Only 3600 ish miles for my round trip last year. No award expected or needed... the adventure is reward enough

I hope you can make it at least once.

+1 on that!

I'm looking for someplace other than So. Jersey to reside, it's REALLY startin' to suck here. I HATE sayin' that, it was great growing up here, too many damn people now.

I always thought that it rained too much, but it looks beautiful out there. I guess coming to the ride would be a good way to get the lay of the land.

It looks like I could do all kinds of riding, on or off road.

Lots of nice little towns, much more my speed, needin' out of the ratrace.

New Jersey, area 8721 sq mi, population 8,864,590.

Harney County, Oregon, area 10226 sq mi, population, 7422.

Edit: My apologizes, that pic might be looking into Malheur County, which is much more densely populated than is Harney.

Yeah, there's something to be said for living in a town of 4800. We complain about the traffic in the summer. We may have to wait for two or three cars to pass before we can pull onto the highway! And that's in the summer when our population triples with tourists.

Jodie misses the city for some things, but we both can't wait to get out whenever we do go to Vancouver, Kelowna etc. and those aren't even big cities.

small town usa

I mean REALLY small, I grew up in a town of maybe 200, I may be including cows! So living in a town with my neighbor 20 ft. away, BLAH!

It's getting to be be more often that I need to get away.

The whole east coast is getting to seem like suburbia. Hell, there's at least 5 new houses in the town I grew up in!

Or, to bring us back to the Hells Canyon area, here is a video on one of our regular attractions during the rally: http://www.opb.org/programs/ofg/segments/view/1374 (Don't let the heat put you off; it doesn't come until after we are gone.)

If you like towns of 200, you owe yourself a visit.

Radioman, and S1Marks.

winkydink?

Funny you chose that pic, my family owned the building that housed what WAS the p.o. for lord knows how many yrs. The town even had a general store, it burned down, never got rebuilt.

Ok, maybe we didn't have quite 200 people.

I've always been an optimist.

It looks like you all had fun.

Great photos everyone. Loud Al's are always OUTSTANDING!

Thanks for the invite, Sherry. I'll consider it next year, but that's a long ways from Arizona.
