Really nice, but this one is not for me. $10,000 and 700cc is to much. I would go for the Honda CTX700DCT for that much money. But it looks like good competition for the Burg 650 and Silverwing. I do wish they could have styled it a little differently. All the maxi scooters look so much alike that you could not tell them apart in a parking lot without looking at them up close.

Not my thing, but I won't complain about more scooters on the road.

I like it, but don't know as I would buy it over the 650 Bergman at this time. The new BMW 600 scooters have the Kymco engines in them, I wonder what other parts are the same to both scooters.

The BMW's have an engine that is manufactured by Kymco, but the engine in the Myroad isn't it. The only place you'll see that engine is in BMW's.

Makes sense to me, BMW gets their engines for their scooter from Kymco and the BMW 650 bikes get their engines from Rotax. I guess the whole world is that way, my John Deere 825i Gator manufactured here in the US has a 3cyclender engine manufactured by a auto manufacture in China. I do admit that the engine runs very well and they give no problems, per the JD Gator Forums.

I like the looks but according to the article; 600+ pounds and the motor is mounted to the swing arm...............no thanks.

I don't see it selling unless they significantly beat the competition (Burgman, SW, BMW) in price and it doesn't look like that is the case.

I've owned both a Burgie and my current ride is a Kymco Xciting 500. Both have some advantages and disadvantages.

Where I would consider the 700 what it really comes down to for is storage. My scoot is my main means of transportation (I do own a car but that is mostly for business).

The Kymco is limited in storage. My Xciting holds a full face helmet under the seat and that's about it. I got a top box and still don't feel like I've enough room for my day to day commute (laptop, jacket, rain gear, etc).

I didn't feel that way about the Burgman. So for me, does the 700 have the room I need? If it does...then yea, I think I just might buy one.

One of the commenters said the swingarm mount was an error. It's frame mounted.

You`ve only got to look at the run of the exhaust headers to see that the engine isn`t swing arm mounted.

It`s located pretty much the same as the 650 Burgie.
