I know this bike.
It's not Dakartech bike someone refer.
This bike is from Portuguese rider Paulo Cardoso, who unfortunately didn’t race Dakar 2008….
Tanks are from a Spanish Dakar kit.

Lots of Dakar 2009 Pics - Jonah Street, Rally PanAm and bivouac shots!

Hey Inmates!

What started as a simple phone call - "Hey Charlie, is it feasible to rent a camper (yeah I know its not a motorcycle) and road trip along the Dakar Rally route to check out the race?" turned into a title sponsorship for the Rally PanAm team and the trip of a lifetime!

That's me on the right (lousy picture): the Super Groupie hanging out the guys in Argentina the night Jonah withdrew from the race. Bittersweet to say the least.

Jonah is a great man. I am glad to have met him.

I was fortunate to be there everyday with the Rally PanAm guys, checking out the bivouacs while exploring Argentina and Chile. We drove 4000 miles in 15 days and were greeted like ROCKSTARS all along the way by the South American fans.

Double Diamond Athletic Club Pictures and Video from the Dakar Rally.

Click on the links on my homepage to check out the Eurosport video highlights and a slideshow that will be my screen saver FOREVER!! Mostly my photos and few I stole off the web.

Also check out video from our 10th Anniversary Celebration. Jonah was there hanging out with his 690 Rally and "WENT HUGE" Saturday night. Robb McElroy can attest.

Thanks to Jonah for allowing me to ride the 690 Rally around Reno. That is a beautiful machine...Dream Come True!!

Any ADV Riders around the Reno - Tahoe area that are fired up to ride this summer? Email me! mike@ddaconline.com

Lets get together and ride.
