Wings! After putting Wings on my 990 I doubt I'll ever look at another Akra again. Staintune might make something too...

[QUOTE=Goti;21826104]Usually half the price.

Now you're talking. I think the Akra is about$1200 here.

The more I look at the Shorty Wings the more I like it.

Correction..
I just rang for the price of an Akrapovic slip on. $1600.

That Wings is sounding better all the time.

Ordered one of these a couple of days ago. Just over half the price of the Akra. A few weeks away though. Nice looking pipe.

Got quoted around the $900 mark for the Wings.

Had a look at the Akra today, its a bloody big can just like the original one. Sounds good though!!

I am very interested in getting rid of the monstrosity that is the std exhaust. Looking for something much slimmer, so I can fit similar size panniers on both sides. (my ocd wont allow ne to have 2 different panniers)

Something similar to what is discussed on this forum would be ideal

http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=d0q0afn0n02dr8q5n3gios39b4&topic=123948.120

I have tried joining that forum to ask some questions, but cant for some reason. (plus they speak some wierd language)

Anyone know what effect a twin system would have on mapping and fuelling?

Well, it says the headers were manufactured by De Graaf.
Google it:

And ask them

That looks great with the pipes coming through the inside hole of the swingarm! Looks like you have to get your own cans.
