I would have told him it's just cosmetic. You got beat by a China bike

Hi Dan,
Just wondering how you actually fixed your side stand? You didn't grind out part if the frame which stops the stand from folding back any further did you?
Cheers,
Lawson.

I used an angle grinder on the frame to remove 5 mills or so. The frame is quite robust and you need to use a fair bit of force with the grinder.

Yep thought so, cheers. I've just got one more question, I'm going to fit the same big bore 150cc kit from ooracing as you have and was just wondering what you torqued the main bolts up too? Can't find out what they're meant to be anywhere..

I reckon the frame was made out of left over bits of the Sydney habour bridge. The frame is strong enough to handle a lot power.

There is a little note in the package from OO about the torque settings (28nm) and valve adjustment at 6 thou. I think that is too loose and now mine is run in. I am going to set them at 4 thou. The stock valve adjustment in 2 thou

Exhaust CAT

Just removed CAT from exhaust - I found it was easier to chop the section out and weld in a new piece then to dig out the bits of aluminium.
I have photos however I don't think I am allowed to post yet??? http://thing.smugmug.com/Sample-Gallery/i-jtJn4sx/A
Exhaust just cut - http://thing.smugmug.com/Sample-Gallery/i-DTc9n4k/A

cat move

I took the cat out of the pipe and put it in the back of the reverse cone to tone it down a bit

not too much unfortunately,
I tried a bit of googling on millyard but didn't get all that far
I know he's English, and he's done some much heavier duty stuff - a 2.6L V12, a Dodge Viper V8 motorcycle, and a 5L V twin to name a few.

I'd really like to know more about how to even begin doing something like that...
