The non-epic September Tour

So the spousal unit and I are planning to ride New Mexico and Colorado
on the street wheels in mid September.
I can tolerate the long boring ride from home through west Texas but the wife won't like it.
Plan is to trailer the bike to somewhere like Santa Fe, then dump the cage and ride the bike for a week or so before returning to air conditioned boredom for the ride home.
Anyone know of a secure place we might leave the car and trailer in that part of New Mexico, besides out in the weeds?
Thanks,
Mike

It might be just as cheap to rent a spot at a public storage facility. - ENJOY YOUR TRIP!!
