I believe this was a paid video of some sorts. Everyone in the AMA & Offroad truck racing organizations know that is Brian Deegan. He owns Metal Melisha, a Supercross Champ, & a Offroad PRO Lites Champ. I bit of a hooligan, but a good guy at the end of the day. I bet he paid the golf course to film this in California.

I told Dave at lunch that is what I thought too. Brian has too much to lose to be caught vandalizing a golf course

Okay folks the holiday spending is over. Time to start saving for October. If it took Sarah McLachlan $18 a month to save an animal in 2009, you can come up with $20 a year to help a Wounded Warrior in 2014.

That's right, for just 7 a day you can help the RTB WWP Raffle blow away their 2013 donation of $2,118. So start putting those pennies in your WWP piggy bank today and show up with at least a 20-spot. That or eat the special, special beans come rally time. Your choice.

No pets were harmed in the making of this post. Well, I did throw the cat off the keyboard once or twice. But he didn't hit the wall that hard. Bring twenty dollars.

Huh. I was thinking "poor framing of the subject matter".

Ride questions

I hate to break up the love fest ..... But..... The Rolling Bones ride.... I read it's not a led ride. Is it a Roll-Chart ride? Also, will there be sound check police / exhaust probers present?

Well, it's not really a led ride but most folk group up and follow somebody who knows where he's going. Expect to see GPS spaghetti-track files posted shortly, over in the current (RTB-V, 2014) thread -> http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=990953

I'm a semi-n00b but think police presence is unlikely (except maybe in SOG's vicinity).

SOG could serve as bait and lead a popo parade so the rest of us can enjoy ourselves with impunity.

More of a GPS/papermap/fuqarwi ride

The only police you'll likely see are on paved roads, and then only maybe.

Be a good neighbor:

Slow down, be quiet, keep dust down around livestock, homes and people. This seems to eliminate a lot of problems. Remember, another one of us might be riding past Farmer Joe's after you pissed him off that morning Wave!

ALL of the locals I've met the last two years were friendly and helpful. If you get a grumpy one, flip him the bird and yell "MY NAME IS TOM!"

PoPo

Didn't literally mean the Police. I meant .... Will the organizers be preforming sound checks? Lots of rides on the east coast won't allow above 91db (I think). Since I've arrived in TX I've upgraded exhaust and utilized the "hey car watch the **** out, I'm over here" noise it generates to keep me upright.
