Question Search tools; am I missing something? Why can't I narrow it down?

I may be missing something about how to search specifically in any particular forum, but I can't figure it out.

I want to search a term in just one forum but when I do a search, I get hits from everywhere. Is there a way to just limit the search to one? As an example, I'm looking for a Motoport jacket and pants so I should look in Gear - Flea Market but I can't figure out how to search for Motoport in just the gear area.

What am I missing?

Thanks

Search by Keyword: motoport
Search in Forum(s): Gear/Flea market/Parts
optional: Search titles only (else it will search in post content also)

Unfortunately for me this generates the "D'oh... Our sucky search engine couldn't handle that term. Got Google?" error. This gets spat out when the search engine is having an actual issue with your search (i.e 3 digit search terms) but also it seems if it can't find a match and you've made the search conditional on a specific forum which is rather confusing.

If you try the above search using "garmin" instead of "motoport" you'll get plenty of hits.

Sometimes using a search engine off site gets better results. Copy and past this for a Google search,

Motoport Air Mesh site:advrider.com

Except the OP wants to buy one (FM) and the flea market is not publicly visible and therefore not indexed by google. If the OP wanted to read discussion threads your suggestion would be OK.

For something specific, like a Motoport jacket, just search for motoport.

You'll get between 15 and 20 threads. Should be easy enough to figure out which are air mesh jackets.
