Honda CRF250L -----> Zuki/Jimny 413

Both small underpowered dual purpose street legal, no brainer w/FI, easy and must to tinker, rugged with straps to hold doors for instance, but excellent japanese engeneering and quality.

I think I have them - 1987 BMW R65, and a 1994 Mercedes C220.

I wish we could get those here in the US. I've had 3 increasingly aged Suzuki Sidekicks and love them for their durable simplicity, but it would be nice to have something a bit newer.

Ducati Monster M900 → Honda S2000

At least, when I owned both I liked the same roads. I would ride the Ducati on an interesting road and want to come back and try it in the Honda. And when I was on a good road in the Honda I would want to come back on the Ducati. I occasionally actually did that, taking the same road in both, one after the other.

I can't find a good match for my current Mustang convertible or KTM 990 Adventure.

The garage way back when I had other vehicles:

I would say the Super Tenere is more full size Toyota Land Cruiser. Big, rugged, relatively simple, and just plain old gets the job done without any complaint.
