The Wee has the speedo gear on the front wheel. Sprocket change won't help. Not sure about the Vee if that's what you ride.

I have no affiliation with this guy, and have not seen the products, but he sells a replacement face that corrects your speed.

I believe the 2012 and 2013 is on the wheel, not the sprocket....at least that's what I've read.

I want a sport bike that has a standard seating position, comfortable 2-up and good on dirt roads.

I like the looks of the FZ1 and FZ6, but can't seem to find much on the 2-up or dirt rad part of it.

Also, what about the bandit? Does it fit in with the rest of these bikes?

Take a Versys for a long test ride. Great all round bike. Excellent low and moderate speed handling and you will never reach it's high speed handling limitations at safe speeds on the street. I have had mine for 3 years and would buy it again in a heart beat, especially when you factor in price.

An added plus for the DL650 is that you won't have the three irritating problems that are associated with the DL1000 - clutch chudder, idle hammer and chain snatch (due to rear sprocket carrier bearing offset). You have chosen well.

You will still want to look at a pretty long list of functional upgrades that will make your new bike even more reliable and rideable, but that's part of the fun of owning either of the 'Stroms. Where's the fun in merely owning an appliance?
