and then they had an awards ceremony and gave away door prizes. max donated enough $100 gift certificates so that just about everybody but me won one.

and it was during the awards ceremony that some yahoo on a KTM 950 decided that since he didn't have the balls to wheelie by us all he'd do the next best thing and do a burn out. to each his own.

young guys today just don't seem to have that fire that we used too.

and before you could say "the british are coming", it got dark and the booze started to kick in on the drunks. Irene was chasing all the guys around with promises of a "spline lube that you'd not soon forget".

don't know if anyone took her up on it.

I took advantage of my newly acquired knowledge of teh manual settings on the digicam and bumped up the ASA, slowed down the shutter and set that aperature WFO and staggered around and took some pics of bikes by the light of the full New England moon.

or maybe it was the big street lamp in the field.
