Interesting- apparently HD went out of their way NOT to say "water cooled" anywhere on the site:

Im glad i have never fallen victim of the allure of the american V twim. Harley's are nothing more than rolling road blocks where I ride, I pass them on my 35 horsepower KLR all the time. Over priced, under powered and ill handling is is what they specialize in and they sell the heck out of them. They haven't had any significant changes since the Evo in the 80's.

"Twin-cooled" ROTF

what a bunch of pussys, just call it water cooled.

when I bought my cx500, it came with vetter fairing, vetter bags, and a stereo, the very first thing I did was take out the stereo. Then the fairing went, then the bags.

Wait. If you tip it over you can whack the radiator? Yow. Expensive.

Why are you here? Why not jus avoid threads with "Harley-Davidson" in the title?

You do realize the radiators are wrapped in crash bars, right?

I'm seeing more lamentation about the possibility of losing the CD player on some models then then liquid cooling. A remarkable testament to how goddamn old the 'faithful' actually are. There is a fair amount of rumbling about the reliability of the cooling system, which is good for a chuckle.

I'm just really bummed about the softer look of the bags.

The crash bar wraps around it.

If you crash hard enough to bend the crash bar, then the radiator will be the least of your worries.

Passed by the local dealership at lunchtime, they didn't have anything on the floor yet, but the nice salesgirl brought me in the back where they had a bunch of Street Glides and Limiteds being prepped, I have to say, the bikes look good in person. I think I like the changes. They should have some more bikes in soon, she said she'd give me a call when they get some Ultra's in.

On the few sections of "twisties" we have in Orlando, Harleys are notorious for holding up traffic.
