Motorcycle tool kit
I'm considering putting together a no-nonsense, bare-bones motorcycle tool kit. One capable of most repairs on the trail.
However, I also reviewed some kits on motorcycle superstore that give you many of the tools one requires for outback repairs.
What do people think of the complete kits that are available?
Any advice for putting together my own kit?

I put my own kit together from a lot of extras I already had.
Wrenches and sockets only in the sizes the bike needs.
One of the screw driver handles that takes bits w/ bits
Spark plug socket
A 2 and 4 inch socket extension
small pair of locking needlenose visegrips
tire irons are dual purpose - one end the iron the other is the large socket for axle nuts (Made by MotionPro)
Multi-meter (freebie from HF - I have SEVERAL)
couple feet of electrical wire
couple feet of safety wire
tube patch kit
extra master link and short length of extra chain
And I keep a small flashlight and Gerber Multi-Tool in my tankbag

8mm combination wrench
In case your brakes get too hot and lock up like mine did yesterday. Of course I didn't have one. the smallest I had with me was a 10mm
I guess it didn't like having new/clean brake fluid.
