Why a tub rather than an Aussie style cargo box ?

I can fit just as much into a tub as I can a cargo box plus I have the option of being able to carry a passenger.

Some of my previous rigs.

I had an 85 krs here was a great old bike, obviously you still see them as a value.I guess over built liquid cooled and linear if not exciting power is actually a great idea in sidecar land.
Stroker the wheel builder whose rigs are way too big was always searching for more power, I thought a turbo'd K would be just the ticket.DB

I recently came to that realisation as well. Took me a while.

Hey, I'm a little slow, ok! I'm a Queenslander, living in Victoria, married to a Tasmanian, cut me some slack.

Got a new tow bar made this week and HRD body goes in for tonneau cover.

It's all happening.

I see them for what they are ... just another motorbike.

The one I'm building now only has 9000 miles. Play with the cam timing , fueling and exhaust length and they'll still see over 110 fully loaded. With the advantage of returning good fuel mileage.

The 4V's and the 1100's hold no advantage over an earlier 2V.

Everyone builds what they want and floats their boat.

If everyone built the same shit it would be boring.

A hot turbo , a nice river crossing. Throw in some spinifex caught around the headers/turbo ... not a good look.

Claude Thinks I'm the universal contrarian but I can't hold a candle to you.

Jarrod kintz is a contrarian
con·trar·i·an

noun
noun: contrarian; plural noun: contrarians

1.
a person who opposes or rejects popular opinion, esp. in stock exchange dealing.

adjective
adjective: contrarian

1.
opposing or rejecting popular opinion; going against current practice.
"the comment came more from a contrarian disposition than moral conviction

Is that clear enough ? It's a dark, bit of irony.DB

The joys of knowing people with skills and a sheetmetal brake.

Got them to make up an aluminium surround for the jerry can holder in exchange for some folding beer tokens.

Both racks are now done. Just need a paint and polish.
