Where are the XT 500s?

Hi all,

I am new to this site, though not to riding - my XT 500 is with me since 1989.
Since I have been searching for "XT 500" with no results and klicked myself through a bunch of threads, I meanwhile am thinking that I might be too much of an idiot to find any colleagues with that same passion here.

Anyway, this is limited to this site so far, for at least monthly I meet them in real life at the Hamburg Stammtisch.

Any clue for this noob is appreciated.

Try "Thumpers" section. I have many fond memories of my 77 XT500 I had through the '80s. Almost makes up for the kick-back and sprained ankles.

Not an XT rider, but right down the same alley....
Lot's of the XT's as well TT's have been sacrificed in order to promote Vintage Racing.
They're out there, you just have to scratch a little deeper to find them.

Yes, I see.

The search function seems to be poorly so far.

BTW, are you allright again?

Yes, I doing better. Thanks for asking!! This is going to take a bit more time to recover than first thought. It's alright... Gives me more time to build up the replacement.

Maybe try searching "XT500" instead of "XT 500"? Here is my thread:

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...ighlight=xt500

Or maybe check out the xt500.co forum.
