Can you kill them with birdshot? Or do you need a slug?

The almost average 9yo boy would love to have that as a pet. Gentle little beasts, they are.

Can't see how it's a hazard, unless you walk around the shop in socks. Or if it's hiding in your toolbox and you reach in blind. That might suck.

The ones we'd see crossing the Turner Turnpike in OK in the 70s could be felt through the suspension if we ran over one.

I nudged him (her?) onto a dustpan and put him under a creosote bush about 30' from the shop. About 1/2 hour later he came back...

Then I took him out to a mesquite tree about 75' away. I didn't see him after that.

I think you've lead it on and confused that spider, poor lil' thing.

Good for you but you should have left it in the shop to who you could scare . Of course if I did that and my Wife saw it I'd have to mop up the pee and poo AND sleep on the couch for a couple of days

I throroughly endorse spider relocation. I have no trouble with them around the shop.

more spiders=fewer other bugs.

just stay out of the helmets, please.

We don't have those big bastards, though.

I would either sell the house or burn it down- or both!

I'm not ashamed to say that I would kill that thing immediately after jumping backwards and screaming like a little bitch
